More games should be played with alternative controllers. The Gamepad isnt the One True Alternative to mouse and keyboard.

In Blazblue, the character Platinum the Trinity has a jab where they do either rock, paper or scissors
This makes no difference in almost all situations EXCEPT when they are fighting another Platinum. If they both jab each other at the same time, the "winner" gets the hit
