Digging through producers' Soundcloud likes is a great way to find new music.

Memes aside, turns out Soundcloud IS where the real music is.

For all those who have been calling for a General Strike.

How we support a localized/ state-wide General Strike to succeed, is an important muscle building exercise for a larger General Strike.
Unions and community orgs are calling for a Minnesota-wide shutdown in 10 days to protest the ferocious assault by federal immigration agents. They're saying on Jan 23, no work, no school, no shopping. SEIU Local 26, UNITE HERE Local 17, & others are supporting, w/ more to join. By me, Amie Stager
“We Are Facing a Tsunami of Hate”: Amid ICE Crackdown, Unions and Community Groups Call for Minnesota Shutdown in 10 Days
Following the ICE murder of Renee Good and an assault on the state by federal immigration forces, a labor-community coalition is calling for residents to refuse to work, shop or go to school on Januar...

Absolutely in the pocket of Big Hops

I'm excited to play the full version of Big Hops. The build I played was super fun and maximized the tongue mechanic without it feeling like set dressing. The levels were designed well and avoided falling into the "shmovement for shmovement's sake" trap.

Seeing it getting 9s is unsurprising.

I don't localpost on here much (It's now a more professional account), but today is a Very Good Day at Work.

Seeing how many people are excited for TC is really validating and one of the bright spots in an era defined by Bad News.

With IGF noms dropping tomorrow morning, it might be a good time to re-read Aura's post from the judging period so you can look super cool in front of your friends when you know all the nominees.
It's time!!! Independent Games Festival judging is wrapping up and thus comes my list of IGF Games I Want To Talk About for the year!

As usual, I'll threadpost this later (maybe tomorrow) but people willing to click on a link can read it in full right now on my blog! auratriolo.com/blog/2025/11...

Dell seems to be the first to realise we don't actually care about AI PCs

important news that's going under the radar: the mayor of SF is putting together a group to rewrite the city's charter that's composed almost entirely of tech fascists, with very little representation from labor groups (or anyone left wing)

Look Outside is an interesting sort of nu-RPG Maker horror game that is also an RPG. It has really cool tone and awful art (praise).

PG&E is having a massive outage in San Francisco. Waymo robots aren't handling the traffic light outages well. Cell service is also out is some places.

No surprise as Waymo robots & cell have repeatedly failed during power outages.

CPUC regulates both Waymo and PG&E (Profit Greed & Explosions).
