When I read this & other articles I started using antihistamines for my Long Covid symptoms. I chose Loratidine - an H1 blocker (anti hay-fever drug) & Famotidine- an H2 blocker (antacid). I felt dramatically improved in terms of reduced brain fog, fatigue, anxiety & irritability & food tolerance
Immunological dysfunction and mast cell activation syndrome in long COVID

Gorgeous soft juicy citrus pale ale (from #GlasshouseBeerCo) without that pithy bitterness that ruins so many beers. It slips down like a sumo wrestler on a water slide.

Mrs Bell asked for a Blackcurrant Cheesecake Gose- I brewed a Damson Gose without lactose or oats or indeed blackcurrants, just pale malt, wheat & some sea salt. Oh & the 2kg of damsons have added a nice tart sourness but not as much fruit as expected. She may have noticed the difference!

Kept for years...oak cask fermented blueberry tripel from Mikkeller. The tart fruit has moderated and the funky lambic and woody notes bring a nice dry finish. More like wine than beer and so much more complex than several years ago. 9.5% abv

From my good friend Dr Asad Khan. Why do health and care professionals turn everyone taking infection control seriously into a neurotic? Why are there so many people labelled and self labelling as mentally ill?

A Gose from the Ile de Ré where they make a famous sea salt....which of course you can taste in this beer. Great little brewery on a lovely Island! Recommended for seafood and beer lovers as there is another great brewery on the Island.

If we are serious about Public Health then howabout good old fashioned attention to prevention by environmental interventions? Clean filtered air in crowded public spaces. Then a vaccination programme for the working population regarding Influenza & #Covid.

Remember all those minimising assurances that #COVID was really just like #Flu?

Turns out they weren't entirely wrong. Except, there's no such thing as "just flu", & as it turns out, flu is a lot like COVID.

So actually, always really serious & best avoided.

And also preventable -
As I’ve explained: one of the best ways to protect your heart health is to keep up with your Covid and flu vaccinations. Don’t listen to antivaccine activists they don’t care about you or your family www.nytimes.com/2025/10/29/w...

What a great idea! Hmm we could do this everywhere!
Having fun getting this stamped at various lambic breweries and lambic cafés. A great initiative by Visit Flanders and Visit Vlaams-Brabant to support lambic brewing culture and fully funded by them. I have 6 stamps already🙂😋

On Tues I went to a Tesco Pharmacy & got my private #Covid jab, booked thro' #Pharmadoctotor.co.uk
It cost £90. Then I went to my GP surgery & got a free flu jab. The staff are no longer given free covid jabs. The reason flu vax is free & Covid isnt, is "Cost effectiveness". Put simply it's about

This is the most disgusting thing that I've ever put in my mouth! You're looking at #P&O Ferries loaded Nachos. The amorphous tasteless green goo is meant to be guacamole the nachos are soggy as the whole mess has been microwaved. Nothing tastes of anything. I paid £5.75 not to eat it.

The JCVI said Covid was now a "relatively mild disease for most people", with rates of hospitalisation and death having "reduced significantly".
Both are true statements but completely ignore the long term sequelae of multisystem #LongCovid.
Its just bad pennypinching medical practice.
