Given that today is Veterans Day, I wonder how many families will soon grieve when the Trump regime illegally, and without provocation, attacks Venezuela. Certainly US service members lives will be at risk. What a tragedy that would be.

Tariffs aren't a tax?
I'm re-doing my kitchen. Someone please tell me what the extra $690 surcharge is for the kitchen cabinets!

PITY THE NATION
By Lawrence Ferlinghetti

Pity the nation whose people are sheep
And whose shepherds mislead them
Pity the nation whose leaders are liars
Whose sages are silenced
And whose bigots haunt the airwave
Pity the nation that raises not its voice

The MAGA Trump regime is like a kitchen renovation. You put in something cheap, then you realize the doors don't align, the countertop doesn't quite fit, but you make do. Living with it, you realize you just can't handle it anymore and you rip it out and start again, in a better way.

I get a kick out of the right wing media/Republicans using the term "woke" so freely. It appears they have no clue that it was a term long used within the Black community, originally in a 1930's song by the Folk/Blues artist Lead Belly, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.

Time to stop feeling impotent. Take to the cities, into the plazas, lay down in the streets. Force them to take your bodies into their gulags one by one. Clog the courtrooms with their perverted justice; respond with silence as Jesus with Pilate.

The news media, print and broadcast, is afraid to clearly call out our time, soft peddling the daily crises from a man who shows clear signs of deep mental disturbance, and a leadership body in Congress that is feckless and impotent. In order to cure the illness you first have to say what it is.

"An explosion of rage or anger against perceived enemies can indeed be an early symptom of Alzheimer's disease. Anger, agitation, and aggressive behavior are common in people living with Alzheimer's and can start even before memory loss symptoms become apparent."
