RIP Robert Duvall. Loved his Boo Radley - without lines he brought power and emotion to the role. Notable on Broadway in Wait Until Dark (1966) and American Buffalo (1977). He used to stop by my dads' restaurant and did not want to be acknowledged. They accommodated him and he returned many times.

Discovered the brilliant comedian Beverly “Pudgy” Wines yesterday. Compared to “Don Rickles” for her insult comedy. She was razor-sharp, quick and never missed a beat; I have no idea how she kept up!
