In all the fear, anger and schadenfreude today, I am certain of only two things. Two children will never see their father alive again, and three parents are grateful they’ll get to see their kids. At some point this all has to end.

The danger to me is that these men, who have never been held accountable for anything in their lives, who believe they can and will get away with anything if they have enough lawyers, will provoke the entire world into proving they are wrong and We the People will pay that price in blood.

“forever war” against an amorphous set of actors who are not in reality engaged in hostilities against the United States."

This "guy" doesn't do anything for a living. It's so far outside statistical norms for the sample that, by the rules of real science, it must be discarded as noise. Also, IQ is not a measure of intelligence. It was invented by white men to extend the myth if white superiority. The SAT is better.
What do you think this guy does for a living?

Gee whiz willikers, our President is such an excellent negotiator that he finally got Russia, China and India to play nice. Great job POTUS! You're aces when it comes to international politics and I'm certain this will earn you the Nobel Piece Prize for sure.

Little experiment tonight since it's just me. Fresh jalapeno peppers stuffed with a two-thirds/one third mixture of no-tomato Tabbouleh and parmigiana reggiano then roasted in an air frier for 10 minutes and polished of on Airfry for three.

@mishellbaker.bsky.social Washing of the Spears by Donald R. Morris. Excellent insight into the the cultural pressures that forced the Zulu Nation into war and utlimate defeat in the Anglo-Zulu war of 1879. While not gunpowder free, the Zulu were an iron age army.

AI "personality" is a direct reflection of who programs it. Scientists win Noble Prizes. Hedge fund managers create market manipulators. Tech brahs produce vacuous nonsense prone to hallucination. And people who would rather work 20 and sleep 4 hours on a couch and have no life or gf...

Want to know what it took to win a space race and a cold war? Taxes of 70% is what it takes. Lowest tax rate before that was at the start of the Great Depression. Give them an inch, and they'll take you to the poor house. Make them contribute, the country soars to the moon. Source URL in ALT text.

My favorite Ozzy song wasn't Crazy Train, War Pigs, Iron Man or any of the others in this list. It has been and always will be Faires Wear Boots, because yeaaah!

We couldn't get coffee in the stacks, but there were soda machines in the basement. One night I couldn't study because I failed my weigh-in and couldn't figure out why. That's when I realized there were 8 cans on the desk. I switched to Tab and saved myself a lot of trouble. Tastes like shit though.
Okay, but here’s your -real- test:

Did you like Tab?

Watching the 20th anniversary 4k edition of the ID4 movie from 1996 - you know, aliens attacking Earth and all that. Can't stop putting current administration in the different roles and I'm really thinking there needs to be a full feature SNL movie now. Do you think Taco would impose tariffs?

I get the need to age verify certain activities. You can't buy alcohol or cigarettes legally without doing it. But I don't need booze or cigarettes, so the choice is mine. Like what social media I use. These days it's damned few, and getting fewer with every announcement. I'll be gone by fall.
