Nod by Adrian Barnes is so interesting but so weirdly uncomfortable to go through despite (so far) not being very extreme or explicit with anything. I'm fascinated by the reaction it's pulled out of me.

Hoo, been awhile! I took some time off to settle in after the move and then broke my dang arm so I had to recover from that. I'm back with my July Wrap Up. Not a lot of reading, but there's more to come this month!

Just finished Victorian Psycho and I'm LOSING MY MIND. It was brilliant, amazing, funny, just...I don't have words! But I will! Eventually! Review on storygraph coming either later tonight or tomorrow morning depending on if I can get the words out of my brain place. I'll tell you now: Five stars.

Monthly reminder: Many people have a book in them, but it takes a special kind of freak to leave the Land of Laziness, cross the Plains of Procrastination and Insecurity Mountain, find the Blade of No One Made You Do This, and use it to cut your chest open and yank that book out.
