Urban tip for country folk:

When you hug an oak in a town or city, as you surely will do out of compassion for their circumstances, do so at your bus stop, as it has the added advantage of obtaining you a seat

The conflation of "foreign criminals" and "illegal migrants" is disgusting.

Vile when some people don't have a safe route to flee from the utter detestation & brutality of war.

It's all grim enough without the Labour Government pushing further misinformation.

We are immensely proud to share that together, we have raised over £57m for charities in the #ChristmasChallenge!

This year was especially meaningful after the passing of our founder, Sir Alec Reed. Your support is a powerful tribute to his vision of contagious generosity.

Thank you!

It’s the last morning of this year’s #ChristmasChallenge!

Just 3 hours left to donate and have it doubled. Every gift, big or small, makes double the difference for charities on the front lines - and the people who rely on them every day.

There’s still £6m+ in match funds to double your donation, and many charities are so close to their targets.

Doubling ends 12pm tomorrow (or when funds run out).
