Wyatt turns five tomorrow, so we celebrated today with family and friends by running around Olympic Gymnastics Center. He had to go back after having a blast there at Henry's party a few weeks ago. Love this goofy guy and his big imagination!

A 4x4 and SUV are different things imo. A Space Hopper is a UK kids toy - a plastic inflatable you sit and bounce around on - it has a face on the front and has rigid ears or horns on the top you hold onto - very different than "a ball with a face".

The Barbican was also hosting a recreated (indoor) street designed for play, full of play cues and invitations. It was creative and magical and being very well-enjoyed - but I couldn’t help feel, after seeing Mayne and Alÿs, that this is a poor substitute for real, playable streets.

It's the pseudo-edging (look, get hard, touch, look more, touch more, surf somewhere else for a while, come back, repeat until you're sitting on a space-hopper)!!!
