Victor, a gay emo bird action figure, and Vance, a gay doggy twink action figure, are sitting in a car. Victor is singing with a wide open-mouthed toothy grin, while Vance is driving. Vance is distinctly shorter than Victor, and is nearly eye-level with the car's dashboard.

Victor protests, visibly irate now, palms open in frustration, "IT'S WHAT THE SONG IS CALLED"
Vance begins his mantra, muttering,
"pulling over i'm pulling over strangle you pulling over to strangle pulling over"
They're both plastic toy-men so it wouldn't actually matter if Victor was strangled. it will hurt him, though. Also like... Are they human-sized? Is the car toy-sized? This is unknown, but it'd be really funny if they were small and just driving like this on the freeway among normal-sized cars.

Umbra Beatrix, a purple owl-doll with glasses, yellow eyes, black beak and accented feathers, and a lightly peach-colored face, is sitting contentedly on some books. She's wearing a purple cropped blazer and skirt, with a black corset, cape, and pants with blue streaks and golden accents. She's also got shapely high-heels on, and light blue stockings.

Fun fact! Umbra usually stands at either the height of a large book, or 6'9", and almost never anything in-between. The chest fluff is amazing for hugs. I think I forgot to mention she has chest fluff. She has chest fluff sticking out between the neck and corset.

Anyway, text next to the doll reads:

(Someone said in earshot that she was expensive-looking, and could be pawned for at least a few hundred dollars)

Umbra again, depicted in black and white, only wearing the corset, heels, and stockings. The owl's posing is generally chaste, sitting down with her legs together and her wrists rested on her knees, looking down past them with her beak open and face relaxed.

Her dialogue reads:
"It's a little funny, but being a doll, I routinely forget how to sleep.

It can feel oddly indulgent and wasteful, when there's books to organize in the library, and research to do.

Then, one day, I find myself particularly cranky, and sure enough, a proper rest restores my senses.

Next to her last speech bubble is a doodle of her looking "chibi" and comfy as hell in a bed, tired but content.

Another fun fact: Umbra can also transform into a book. Umbra has many talents. She's agender and kinda sounds a bit like an old man, but due to presentation is often referred to as she.

Vance is a toy-fox-dog-man who poses with his green and black keyboard-buster-sword over his shoulder, looking off into the distance thoughtfully. He's got a short, open vest on with a black top, while sleeves with exposed shoulders, and open-toed heeled boots, showing his green-clawed paws. His man "fur color" is black, with an undertone of a light tan-ish cream. He's got sharp, pretty green eyes with black pupils, and a tuft of toon link-looking hair. He's also wearing a white, pointy beanie. Adorned on his thighs, hat, and hands are a green triangle. He looks like this because he's a fan of Zelda and Star Fox, as some ungodly lovechild of Fox McCloud and Link. He's also got a tuft of fur sticking out under his chin, kinda like what some depictions of Rocket Raccoon has. Also, a big dumb plump tail. The tail also has a sock covering some of it.

Victor, Vance bird-boyfriend, has a tiny Vance sitting on his finger. Vance looks pensive. Dialogue reads:
"Whatcha thinkin' about." asks Victor.
"I have a meeting with my supervisor later. I don't know how to change back yet. Kinda freakin out," Vance replies.
"Sounds rough, luv. Just relax. I'll show up today, just for you. Worse comes to worst, just call in sick, or whatever. Use your 'I'm doggy' excuse."

"He said before over the phone that he sympathized, but that I couldn't use it next time
"I have to show up."
Next panel, Vance as a doggy, fist-bumping what appears to be the 44th President of the united states, his supervisor.
Supervisor: "You uhhh have been promoted to uhhh store manager, Vance. Uhhhhcongratuluuhhaations"
Vance: "Wow! Thanks, Boss."
Victor, the third wheel, presenting as a human: "--"
Supervisor: "You're the boss now, Vance. You the uhhh man now, dog. I wanna see your cute furry ass running this gamestop like uhh
"like auhh a lubed-up warmachine."

"and uhhh let me be clear, Joker-boy. you work under Vance's gay lil' scrimblo butt too, now.
"so uhh get to work. drone-strike some sales targets.
"bomb their asses. you know what i mean

Victor drives Vance home.
Vance: "I feel like human-you looks more like Kakyoin than the Joker but that's just me"
