If you already have a persona that uses your own very unique voice and is immensely popular with millions of fans, why would you expect people to treat your new persona separately?

My rule of thumb having grown up, heard experiences of my parents, is that a show should still be mildly entertaining to an adult viewer.
If the show is boring, irritating, or a big nothing a parent is unlikely to watch it with their kid and in the age of ipad kids leave them to their devices.
