Adobe Animate is being canceled this March 1st, and next March the ability to access your files or project data will be removed. I don't know if signing this will help, BUT WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING!!!! Please sign this, for the sake of the many animated shows that will be effected.

Can you spare a minute to help this campaign?

A game with cute characters or fancy graphics can become popular for a few years
But the games that also has great gameplay are the ones that last forever
I think Indigo Park has a lot of work to do to become known for its gameplay instead of people wanting to huff Rambely's virtual balls through the screen.

And people really don’t give two shits unless your indie animation is like, voiced by pros, has clear graphics and ten minutes of run time + a whole team of animators

Lrt: oh god I feel this so hard

The impossible standard for indie animation is so heavy on my shoulders ngl which is why I had to really scale everything down

And even then I feel bad for taking so long even tho that’s kinda realistic bc I have like, no studio/big team

Yes the teams are still online and smaller than an average studio but are unionized (which is great)

But what's the definition of indie anymore? When does the show/studio outgrow indie?

Sucks that the only perception of indie aren't really.. indie anymore.

And actual indie projects are ignored :(

Indie isn't what it used to be, and now people are putting impossible pilot standards on actual indie creations and I MEAN INDIE

because it's not up to the "top dogs"standards

Seeing corporations generate merch in big box stores, government assistance, streaming services pick ups, etc, etc

I'm fans of these properties, but I feel wrong and icky calling them indie now.

Yes that's how it started but.. it feels wrong calling it now.

There's so much more out there, some still struggling to make ends meet while investing $10k+ out of pocket to pay a team or themselves to make a pilot/eps

Can we finally admit when something is not indie animation anymore?

Or are we going to keep giving young creators impossible standards on pilots because the word "indie" gets slapped into everything a "indie" studio makes even when it's no longer the case.

Sorry my indie animation rant prior

Indie animation is wonderful

But there's so much that the audience is missing.

" Top 3-4 fave indie animations"
It's good that you like the big 3.. but realize that they outgrown that space..

There are so many more missing out there that need so much support

It's probably not that deep, he's just a shameless guy who sees his toddler audience as dollar signs, throws away whatever dignity he has for clout, and reacts childishly to criticism of him being a content farm by doubling down on it.

He's probably hoping his kid audience attacks his critics.

Unfortunately, I have just been sent a Powerpuff Girls content farm. I have no idea why this exists, but it does.

I've really grown to despise these kinds of games because it reeks of pretentiousness
Undertale is one of the very few exceptions to this, but one trope I've always hated in video games is shaming the player for playing it and saying things would have been better for the characters if they never played it, especially when they aren't given a choice to help.
