I definitely feel the Prototype in Poppy Playtime should have had a more Lovecraftian design. Something that's really incomprehensible and messy as opposed to the more standard "Devil Spider Pomni" design in the actual game.

Good god, the character designs in Poppy Playtime chapter 5 are the worst ones get. I could at least get the appeal of the others even though they weren't period accurate but all the new characters are just hideous. And they rehashed the Smiling Critters ever again.

Not even the content farmers want anything to do with Rainbow Gate. The main one I've been seeing them try to hype is one called Save the Shapes which I've also seen no one on BlueSky or Twitter talk about. It doesn't help that its Itch.io page openly brags about it being featured on kids channels.
