Sometimes you just need to explain why something doesn’t work, even when it seems straightforward to those outside

Sadly when those outside are MPs who impose their views via Department of Health it’s worse

Happy #socialistsunday 😊

Do you believe in the promise made by our NHS that all will be cared for from cradle to grave?
Then I ask you to support those of us trying to make sure that promise will be kept for generations to come.

We should be following eachother

Have a great Sunday ✊️ please 🔄

Doctors have been hit with pay cuts for years, and only saw movement after taking action.
The goverment keeps stalling instead of sorting it. Strikes aren’t the issue, they’re the result of being ignored.
Time for proper talks and real progress, not more delays.

Blaming doctors while refusing real pay talks is short-sighted. Years of underfunding and burnout led to this moment.
Leadership should mean addressing root causes, not picking fights with those keeping the NHS running.
‪‬Tough talk won’t win trust or votes.

Wes Streeting said to be eyeing up No 10 – but how will doctors’ strikes affect his chances?
Some MPs question Streeting’s framing of dispute as a ‘war’, but wider mood is likely to depend on how NHS holds up
