As Tees Valley mayor Lord Houchen's defence of his deal with local businessmen crumbles, here's the Eye's recent special report on how Britain's flagship regeneration scheme secretly turned into one of the biggest giveaways of public money on record.

I want to hear how it was the first World Cup to lose money and they won't be going to a War Criminal's country again.

Lets make it happen.

Some very dodgy numbers in that MRP poll. Of these 9 the winning margin in 8 of them is less than 2% and in everyone the SNP are 2nd. Same polling company massively over called RUK at last GE

Strike averted in less than a week after initial talks between SNP/ScotGov & unions. This, in stark contrast to doctors in England where the latest 5 day strike action back in December was the 14th walk out since 2023.

Wonder how BBCScotlandshire will spin this?

Kind of extraordinary that the new Local Growth Fund is to be distributed by the Welsh Government in Wales, but directly by the UK Government in Scotland, and that the rationale for the difference seems to be no more than "we don't trust the Scottish Government".

But they are not. Because they.are hoors.

The UK Labour Government has consigned us to misery, with a flat-lining economy, increased household energy bills & high food prices.

Scotland can end the misery of Westminster with the fresh start of independence. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Thoughts and prayers for BBC Scotland news editors grieving the loss of an orgy of SNP bad stories prior to May's election as doctors in Scotland call off a planned strike. Scotland is the only part of the UK where NHS medical staff have not gone on strike.

Today's statistics show we're making real progress in reducing waiting times for patients across Scotland.

Long waits are down for the sixth month in a row, and inpatient and outpatient procedures are up.

More to do, but it's encouraging to see sustained improvement in our NHS.

So what would you suggest? The ballot box is the best way and we need to exhaust all these options while at same time building the strong majority for Independence . Do so opens more folks minds and lowers UK legitimacy

Regrettably it is just a convenient ploy that will last no longer than the election campaign. Labour in Scotland are completely part of UK Labour. Credibility is very low given Sarwars statements on a wide range of issues that he then abandoned. Why would this declaration be any different?

I wonder what our unionists in Scotland have to say? Surely one of them will condemn this and say what a poor job the English Gov is doing!
