Week EIGHT of the bathroom renovation: the second vanity was finally delivered today and was to be installed tomorrow. It’s the wrong freaking vanity—drawer place on the wrong side, hardware wrong and worse? it’s the wrong colour! Will this never end?

Hubby sent me this meme, laughingly, because for some reason my hearing aids keeping disconnecting from my phone and attaching to my various other devices so I never know where the sound is streaming from when I need it to be. So lately, yes, I’m Grandpa.

We’re in week 7 of our bathroom renovations. What is it that they can’t get right in putting up subway tile on brand new drywall? They admitted 1st tiler was incompetent so they sent their #1 guy who couldn’t fix it, tore out the drywall to try again then did this today. #bathroomrenovation

Hubby pointed out a yarn store to me in Bath today (second one we found though the first one was closed) he was shocked when I didn’t buy anything. Now I feel like I need to go back and buy something/anything LOL

Checked into a hotel for the night thanks to no electricity at home. Clerk loudly announced my room #, my email address and phone number. AND my home address and other info is displayed on a tablet where other guests can read it. Not impressed with their lack of security for their guests.

Having our 1974 home’s original fusebox switched out and upgraded to 200amp finally today—the electrical team just showed up and the lead is a woman! Yay STEM!
