More than 1,600 fossil fuel lobbyists granted access to the Cop30 climate negotiations in Belém (Brazil), 12% up from last year’s talks in Baku, Azerbaijan.

What should be the most serious, urgent talks on the planet continue to be a farce.

Even during blackouts, 🇺🇦 Ukraine keeps mobile internet on, because we don’t hide the truth. Meanwhile in Russia, more regions are shutting off mobile internet entirely, pretending it’s for “security.” In places like Ulyanovsk, they say it stays off until the end of Putin’s “special operation”.

Can’t quite believe the Chancellor is seriously considering slashing support for home energy efficiency as a way to cut fuel bills 👀. Locking people into cold & leaky homes which will cost them more to heat & decimating the insulation industry at same time. Total madness 👇

These poor kids didn’t stand a bloody chance…

345 vulnerable kids, seeking asylum and then lost by our authorities

50 still missing

Likely to traffickers

How could this have happened?

Unforgivable from now-Reform controlled Kent County Council.

I have been charged in a federal indictment sought by the Department of Justice.

This political prosecution is an attack on all of our First Amendment rights. I’m not backing down, and we’re going to win.

Elon Musk is once again inciting violence on British streets because the government has taught him there are literally no consequences for doing so.

They even carry on using his far-right social network to promote government policy as he does it. The absence of backbone is *astounding*.

The moderate left needs to challenge this kind of nonsense. NATO is a diminished alliance that is finding its feet at a critical moment – pushing back against an actual imperialist power.

People pushing to leave NATO immediately don't have an answer for "How would you meet the UK's defence needs?" or "How would we fulfil our obligations to our regional allies?"; both of those are bound up with our NATO membership.

"Against everything the USA touches" is not credible foreign policy.

So disappointed in her, she's torched her credibility in one fell swoop.
We take no joy criticising a young left-wing UK political figure who has often spoken up for workers' rights and progressive causes. But these barely coherent comments from Zarah Sultana on Ukraine sum up much of what is wrong with her wing of the left www.instagram.com/reel/DQT62ys...
