Hm.
"Retro Futurism" is a pretty ubiquitous term, but technically, Cassette futurism and Y2K futurism are both "retro"
Maybe it would be more effective to call 1950s-60s style sci-fi "Chrome futurism"

Like, people dont register I think how strange it would be for William's kill count to be double what it is, and for half of those to never be brought up in the dozens of direct references to the 5 kids in every game after.
Meanwhile all the toys are stylized like dolls and clowns, like the puppet.

Brain is spinning thinking about how the supposed 5 extra victims in FNaF 2 never once show up again. Not even alluded to.
The only reason people have to believe they even exist is as a reason for the toys being possessed. but they look like the puppet, the puppet is a security device, and possessed

I got the stylized spindash model working in-engine using a kind of goofy/jank rendering trick. (The model representing the outline is flattened along the view axis. It's imperfect and occasionally prone to occlusion by the sphere, but it also doesn't require any stencil mask nonsense.)
