Hell - The Dis continent plateau
(of course, this is an abstraction, the actual structure is so vast that the Dis Skyline wouldnt actually be so visible from this distance, nor would the skyscrapers reach over the cliff borders.)
A teetering Plateau with a thin twisting base. It stands over an abyss of dark smoke, at the center of a red foggy sky. the large triangular body of the formation, built out of misaligned shale-like layers, is pocked with holes, each emanating a dim, icy blue glow. A swirling tornado of souls falls in from above, coalescing into a crucible at the center and peak. Illuminating the surrounding 'sky' with an orange tint. The structure's upper section is separated into 9 layers, each split along a staircase of sheer cliffs. the 5th layer up sits on a notably taller cliff, lined with cascading waterfalls. This acts as the city wall, bordering the proper city of Dis. which grows denser the further up you go.

Shitty mouse sketch doodle of my fan concept for the protagonist of White Knuckle. Created cos I saw someone else's very industrial sci-fi-y concept and went "That's really fucking cool looking, but I bet I could nail the industrial brutalist vibes with a more grounded look."

Very WIP concept tho.

In fairness, I prolly need to revisit them. their designs have a much more scrappy style compared to the overall artstyle of the story I wanna put them in, and it may lead to them looking rather out of place.
