Yesterday my husband and I were doing “guess the ‘80’s song” quizzes on Youtube.
Suddenly a “Know BTS quiz” popped up. One of the questions was “whose voice is this” and to my surprise he knew all the answers!! I’m married to an ARMY!

So I can imagine that with more possibilities in the new bluetooth, Hybe wants the best design for the lightsticks for this iconic show. And there for will not use the old sticks that are less precise. So yes, it is still a choice they made but it could be 💰💰and aestetics.
I know everybody and their mother is pissed about the old light sticks not working. Before we all say Hybe is greedy (they probably are). Know that in ‘24 (with a roll out in “25 and ‘26) new Bluetooth technology has been released that is more precise, so it could also be that.

1/2 I just wanted to say that releasing a new version of a lightstick just produces unnessecary "want it" for people who have a perfectly fine one (marketing and profit, I get it) but also, if millions of Amys buy a new one although they have one: The impact on environment, the plastic garbage.+
