Sorry, but if you are taxing citizens who do not live in country, then they should get a vote. And they are definitely being taxed.

WTF?!?
DOJ is now recruiting for immigration judges by calling them “deportation judges.”

That’s seems really bad.

Step #1 is expand the Supreme Court or the rest of this never gets implemented, even if you can get laws on the books. The current SC will run interference and that must be dealt with before anything else.

These symbols should be divisive. I want nothing to do with people who have swastikas or fly a confederate flag. I want to be separate from them!!
Exclusive: The U.S. Coast Guard will no longer classify the swastika, nooses and the Confederate flag as hate symbols.

The military service drafted a new policy that classifies them as “potentially divisive.”

It would help if some more of those in power would find a spine. Hard to stand without one.
A president who speaks of death for dissent isn’t defending a nation, he’s claiming a throne. He names enemies so others will swing the sword. Power that fears questions always reaches for blood. Don’t give him the submission he’s seeking. Stand when he demands you kneel. #AuthoritarianAlert

A less educated populace is easier to control. And there is A LOT of money to be made privatizing education. As a former public educator, the money has been driving the Republican education policies for decades. The control issue is just the icing on the (money) cake.

Being angry with him and/or not approving of his policies does NOT mean they won’t vote for him. The MAGA base will not turn that easily and there hasn’t been nearly enough pain yet.

It is so hard to believe that this is where we are. In the United States of America. They are doing this in my name and yours, and I don’t know how to make it stop.
Here’s a story for every national news outlet:

In N.C., churchgoers are literally running into the woods as federal agents descend on the property.

“Inside the church, women and children sobbed as they wondered whether their loved ones had been taken.”

This clearly falls into the category of, “If your presidency can be brought down by the release of these files, it SHOULD be brought down.”

I used to call his office and quote his own words from interviews and the policy notes on his website to ask what the hell changed. Might be time to start harassing them again. I had to take a time out for a while to save my sanity.

You will offer complete support, money, time, and anything else, to anyone who chooses to primary these traitors to the Dem cause, right? RIGHT?!?

Every single Democratic senator that votes to cave on this should be immediately ejected from the party, and the national party should immediately start running primary candidates in their districts.

There is no bipartisanship possible with traitors and fascists. You either fight, or die.

This. A hundred times, this is the way. If the pain is mitigated, it will only be worse next time. I am so furious that we came this far and had actual hope from Tuesday to just throw it all away. For next to nothing. Minimal pain, and so next time it will be worse. And harder to fix.
Democrats have to stop bailing out Republicans from facing the consequences of their own policies. And yeah, that means they have to stop sparing voters from experiencing what GOP government truly means.

Every time Dems step in, it only emboldens the GOP & they make it even worse the next time.
So Democrats get:

1. A CR that will prevent the GOP from facing the wrath of Americans for a shutdown over the holidays

2. A coupon for one (1) meaningless ACA vote that will fail

3. An end to the illegal RIF/SNAP moves that are already before the courts

Those all seem like wins for the GOP.

Still almost 30% of the population sleep-walking through this.

If these people are ICE, and they are claiming to be sheriffs and wearing clothes as if they are sheriffs, are they not impersonating law enforcement officers? And doesn’t CA or LA have laws to prevent that that are being broken? This is infuriating and I live on the other side of the country.

This should be criminal. Her constituents deserve representation.
This is ridiculous.

Things that make you go Hmmmmmmm???😂
Funny, how the "No Kings" protesters were "elderly white hippies" in August (per Stephen Miller), but are "pro-Hamas terrorists and violent criminals" in October (per Karoline Leavitt).

It's *almost* as if this regime makes its shameless lies up as it goes along . . .

How does this work? Who is paying the balance? Or has the state negotiated directly with the drug supplier/manufacturer for a lower price? Don’t get me wrong - this is spectacular! Just curious how it works and as others have said, why is it just happening now??
October 17, 2025 at 3:13 PM
This is abhorrent. I can’t even imagine the terror of that poor mother and child.
NEW — I dug into the story of ICE abducting a 13-year-old boy in Massachusetts and moving him 500 miles across state lines without notifying his mother, local cop's complicity, and how the federal government's justification for such cruelty is already falling apart:
ICE took a 13-year-old they said had a gun. Local cops say he didn’t.
Now he's detained 500 miles away from his Massachusetts home.

Notice the ICE camera person; gotta have footage to use to terrify people into submission.

These kinds of statements need to be happening from every Democrat, every day, all day long. They need to preach this every time someone sticks a microphone in front of them. It needs to be a collective, deafening message.
Senator Brian Schatz

It's going to be hard to say that Trump is joking about jailing his political enemies when he's already trying to jail his political enemies.

“More affordable” in that when you don’t have enough money you just die.

They have a plan! Pay for healthcare out of pocket. And for those of us who can’t afford to do so, we die. Too bad, we should have worked harder so we had money to pay. 🙄
