I'm a Clinical Social Worker and have practiced in health and mental health settings. If I texted sensitive patient info in a non-HIPAA compliant group chat and added someone who wasn't a provider, I'd lose my job, my license and face civil and criminal charges. The DOD is held to lower standards?

I just woke up from a dream where I confronted Pete Hegseth-speaking to him as I would any client. It was such a reasonable conversation. I pointed out his behavior has nothing to do with his stated goals-but is instead a clear indicator of childhood trauma and a deep belief he is unworthy. 1/7

The ACA IS COOL because patients quit using the ER for basic needs like diabetes treatment and management, and we got to support them in stabilizing their health-and we still do!
The ACA was cool because people got a chance to leave a dead-end job with insurance and start a business
The ACA was cool because before the ACA EVERY SINGLE CHILD WITH CANCER hit their annual and lifetime limits almost immediately and were denied insurance for the rest of their lives and after the ACA that’s illegal.
