didn't want to use plastic cement indoors so I put wing zero's ears back together to the scene of a picturesque sunset after the wind calm down. maybe stabbing myself was worth it to touch grass for 5 minutes?

What defines a retro game is neither time nor aesthetic but other qualities. Doom 2016 became retro when Eternal came out, however, the same cannot be said of Eternal and Dark Ages. Every Legend of Heroes game is retro immediately. The Last of Us will never be retro. I will elaborate no further.

We've finally come full circle. People are longing for less chatter dialogue in their games by referencing ocarina, a game that people consistently complained about Navi being too talkative to the point of it being a meme for 20 odd years.

so I noticed someone finally uploaded kamijo's Winter Romantic Concert to youtube, and all of the arrangements are pretty good. but for a laid-back, easy-listening experience (no brass, no drums; just strings, piano, acoustic guitar, and kamijo) they're not all a blow-your-mind kind of amazing

THis is actually a really good illustration of why LLMs are just...kind of not that good at a lot of the things they're sold as being good at: The thing doesn't fucking understand or know what the question is, it's doing pattern recognition and that breaks down on a long enough timescale.
