I never knew there was a Dallas comic strip! I wonder if they ever followed the show's stories or eventually went their own way. A shame they didn't last, as I imagine they would have been better than the show by then. And Bobby lost a fight with a stretching machine.

Love how improv-coded this show is (and Fran doing the ice cream commercial as a class presentation was kind of clever)

Such a harrowing moment - I wonder how people at the time felt. Ken was never the same without Val, and I'm sorry we never got to see who she would have become.

This makes Priest seem dirty as hell. Very smart advertising if you want people to tune in, I guess, but I'm surprised it's from BBC2.
#OnThisDay 18 November 1995
BBC2 broadcasts Jimmy McGovern's controversial drama PRIEST for the first time. To promote it, they take out full page ads in national newspapers . . .
A Catholic priest is trained to love his fellow man. Not fancy him. Priest. 9.05pm, tonight, BBC2.

#GordenKaye makes the first of 37 appearances as Elsie Tanner's nephew and lodger Bernard Butler in #CoronationStreet. Apparently cast on the recommendation of #PatPhoenix, he was written out in 1970 by new producer June Howson.

#GordenKaye makes his first appearance as Elsie's nephew Bernard Butler in #CoronationStreet. This was the first episode to be broadcast in colour. As the new colour title sequence was not ready, the opening theme plays over a caption card instead.

Partial January 1978 General Hospital episode just uploaded with a surprising amount of Alan and Monica content, including a lengthy flashback! Feels fitting we got this so soon after losing Leslie and Monica. There's a bit of Scotty and Laura too. youtube.com/watch?v=fIGk... #gh
