Sometimes, shit just happens. It turns out the laws of physics don't have any empathy for a courageous and talented athlete.

Lindsey Vonn didn't crash because of her ACL. She crashed because she took a hard line and her arm and ski pole caught a gate. She crashed because she was competing to win. If she were in her early 20s and hadn't torn her ACL, the same damn thing would have happened.

Finally went to a dentist today, and it turns out that I have a tooth and gum infection. They gave me antibiotics and whatnot, and I hope to God that they work. If they don't, then removal is the next option.
