On top of refusing to fully fund SNAP during the shutdown, the Trump regime has:

-Cut $1 billion from USDA programs supporting food banks
-Enacted tariffs that have caused food prices to rise
-Made the largest cut to SNAP in history
-Canceled the annual food security survey

Shameful.

Whenever I hear someone say "there's lots of WASTE in the food bank system," an image - like this one I snapped this morning with our church pantry - leaps to my mind. To wit: all of the SNAP boxes food comes to us in go back to the Food Bank. NO waste. Not even the cardboard boxes. REUSE! No waste!

The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion.

The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion.

Read that back.

When 400 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.
