I know it’s dark now but here’s a ray of hope: let these confirmations happen and hope 1 of these people don’t get confirmed. Almost all will. After that, things get tricky with the tax bill and government funding/debt ceiling fight. I hope Democrats are practicing saying “NO”

I've seen some wondering why a person married to a US citizen might not be documented.
It took me 4 years & over $1500 to get residency-and I'm a 🇨🇦 married to a 🇺🇸.
In my experience, it's incredibly hard for someone whose first language isn't English and can't spare the $$ to navigate this process.
