Itβs very interesting. It appears the ship will get locked up in some port and someone might try to prove they own it. But itβs likely nobody will be able to prove they own the ship. It will take so long the ship will start to decay and it will be legally sold, and funds held in escrow.

These types of International debts created by international courts are common and itβs common they are unpaid. US sent money to Iran to settle confiscated Iranian money. Some EU countries resist taking Russian funds. Others argue the settlement to regain funds would match settlement to pay damages.
