If the U.S. government is going to take the position that, once removed from the United States, folks can’t be brought back, then it sure seems to me that federal courts should be reflexively and categorically barring *all* removals until they’re 100 percent certain that the removals are lawful.

How the Klamath Dams Came Down.

Last year, tribal nations in Oregon and California won a decades-long fight for the largest dam removal in U.S. history.

This is their story.

There’s no one around to stop Trump from declaring martial law and suspending the Constitution or even an election.
Trump Wants to Be President for Life—and He’s Already Preparing for It
No, he’s not “joking” when he portrays himself as a king and muses about staying in office past 2028. Just look at everything he’s done this month.

One removal and the Dems have stopped protesting? These guys wouldn't last five minutes at an Eagles game.

I’m loving how Donald Trump’s team is losing despite the refs’ best efforts to hand Kansas City the game.

So far it's the best music in Superbowl history, and halftime isn't even here yet. Thanks #NewOrleans!

Wonderful thread. My only addition is that Peter Herzberg killed water affordability. He did it intentionally, and I'm looking forward to seeing him explain why to his constituents.

Don't get it twisted. Mike Duggan knows he had no shot at winning a Democratic primary because he's the same brand of corporate Democrat the true grassroots of the party are moving away from. He's not a "maverick" he's an opportunist. apnews.com/article/dugg...

Climate change is water change.

And Michigan is no exception.
Being above average isn't always a good thing.

Check out the 2024 water temperature in Lakes Superior and Michigan. 23-24 winter was mild, so water was above average coming into the summer. It is still well above average.

The argument that Alvin Bragg’s proposed 4-yr freeze of Trump’s challenge to his sentencing for committing crimes to become POTUS in 2016 would just incentivize Trump to stay beyond his 4-yr term is, with all due respect, foolish. He’s already sure to do all he can to hold onto power for life.

One thing I hope we can do as Bluesky gets larger is be less tolerant of the resistance grifters who will try to hack the platform for engagement and growth without any interest in adding anything substantive or meaningful

It’s a different kind of troll.

We have entered the upside down.
Truth be told, it does seem kind of silly to have the FBI do background checks on presidential appointees when the president is a convicted criminal and an adjudicated digital rapist.
