I added a bit of pomegranate molasses and balsamic vinegar to the caramel to broaden and balance it.

Is my math right?
France had 40m people in 1940 and was occupied by 300,000 German troops during WWII. 1 troop for every 133 French residents.
Minneapolis has 430,000 people and there are 3,000 ICE/etc agents present. That's 1 agent for every 143 residents.
Occupation seems the right word.
