I would imagine most hockey fans loved the Frozen Frenzy last night, not sure how they couldn't. But I did get some grumbling from some NHL team execs. Some not happy with start times and how it's tough to sell in their market, etc.

About as bad as we thought could happen with the news swirling around the captain. A thumb is about the only saving grace but depending on ligament damage, that’s going the beach long road back. Best of luck in the recovery process to the captain.

Well that was an utterly disastrous showing of the first game without the #Sens having their captain in the lineup. Woof. 8-4 to the lowly Sabres…throw everything in the garbage and move on back home to face Seattle. Never speak of this one again.

I've no issues with the #Sens disallowed goal.
But a 4 minute review is ridiculous. Put a 2 minute max review, and if it's not conclusive, you stick with the call on the ice.
That way, you basically make it that the refs are still in control but they have technology to review.

This has been a really sloppy game by the #Sens so far honestly. Very bad penalties to take, bad penalty kill, and not a great start to their 25-26 season. They'll want to reset and play their game from this point on. No more dumb penalties.

Getting toughness in the line in trading a player that they weren’t really using a lot and spent a fair bit of time in the AHL. MacDermid should hopefully alleviate the situations that Brady would normally answer. #Sens

#Sens website is streaming the game on TVA Sports but no sound. Can only also I believe listen to the game via the radio; iHeart won't grab it (regional rights and ads and whatnot I think..)

Also, the #CFL changes are interesting. But this is coming from someone who barely watches the REDBLACKS on the basis that they've been so bad and reverted to being bad this year.
As a neophyte to the sport that doesn't pay attention and is more of a NFL watcher if i want to watch football, yay/nay

This is..mixed news.
On one hand, the man did what he did in the ring and was an icon for wrestling. I’ll always remember “Real American”” blare and the pop that even came out of me.

At 1-5, it is completely disheartening to even watch any #Redblacks game at this point, really.
That's the problem with the CFL. It is so bad to even remotely be interested in the CFL because of this. Once you go down as bad as you do here in this case, it becomes hard to watch.

The way July 1st has come and gone, it is hard to fathom that Florida doesn't have a solid shot at a 3peat. They resigned all three of their big key players that were UFA'ed..I just have no idea how you take that team on. They're just scary.

And all I can think of was the suicide pass he took and got ringed for. Granted, he's got some defensive capabilities since then. Not a huge commitment and gives the center position a bit more solidifying. Probably means Gaudette doesn't come back. #Sens

I honestly can't see Ottawa doing much more today. They've resigned a fair amount of their players and they're content with their depth from what they lost. Most signings are very minor deals and depth deals.
I think the #Sens are looking at it as: let this team grow and see if you can get better.
