I dunno. I have a hard time thinking the 'average' fan would be that dialed in. But maybe I'm speaking out of my behind and it's factual. But I would much prefer seeing the ratings numbers to see if it really did move the dial in any way.

My thoughts is that it didn't as much as some people think.

But I come back to say: I sincerely doubt that 'most' hockey fans loved the Frozen Frenzy last night. Most hockey fans probably weren't even aware of it. I don't think there was much branding or marketing to indicate that they would play all night, all 32 teams, unless you're watching sports network

Further in the hockey year, this might have been better. But we do have to put as a caveat that the NHL will close for three or so weeks because of the Olympics so there's a good chance this a bit of a "well, we do this when we can" moment.

Without evidence, I will admint, I will state that I'm 'fairly' confident this didn't really move the needle in Canada. The US, however, might be different. One of the biggest things is that they chose to do this during a weekday in *October* of all times. Terrible decision there.

The diehards will enjoy this, yes, but Canada probably was not one of them as the investment in the Blue Jays right now is skyhigh being that the team is in the World Series. I would love to see the data from each game if only to see if they are higher during this Frozen Frenzy than usual.

First off, the casual fan may enjoy hockey but they're not sitting to watch multiple teams. They may have a rooting interest in one team, and 'maybe' two teams as a *fallback* when their one team is playing terribly, but they won't be actively watching it. I would venture maybe 80% won't do this.

Be a. Not beach. Although he could go south and enjoy the beach with the family? I dunno. Autocorrect does things and I just go with it.

There will be time to go into the negatives but we as people need to remember that this man was a father and a grandfather to people, and a generation’s hero in the ring.

RIP, Hulkster. May you be free from whatever demons haunted you and be at peace. Thank you for the entertainment.

I commend anyone who watches this because I just 'cannot' watch it.

The problem here is that they basically could come back, but who wants to watch a 1-5 team come back unless you're literally someone who loves the CFL. And as the CFL suffers when the NFL comes back online with games, this is so bad for anyone who casually cheers for the team like I do.
