It is the duty of every person in Rowling’s vicinity to make it clear to her that her legacy is now one of destroying women’s rights. If more of the people around her had the guts to tell her how monstrous her behaviour is, we might not be here.
Trans women, just like all other women, are sisters in the struggle against the misogynistic systems we were all born into. No legal ruling by those systems will ever make that less functionally true. ✌️✨

The UK Supreme Court has unanimously decided that the definition of sex under the Equality Act 2010 refers solely to biological sex, and does not include people with a Gender Recognition Certificate.

It is *very* important to understand that Jews were never the only target of the 1930s Nazis and they are not the only targets of today’s Nazis. A Nazi salute is not only antisemitic. It is also racist, ableist, and queerphobic.

The new "sex and gender" executive order does nothing but make trans people's lives more difficult than they already are. Trans prisoners will be raped more, trans federal employees will be discriminated against more, and trans travelers will be subject to unneeded hassle.
