OK been teasing this super weapon a faction has been begging to use for a few months. Revealing it as a dracolich to my level 5 party tonight. There's no real smart response to something like that, so I'm excited to see what they do.

Argh I wanted to run a quick session so ghouls raiding a town! Yeah, quick and easy to set up. But what if.. there was a guy who was a refugee from a previous raid who made an unrelated pact of the undead to protect himself and now he has a cult of people pretending to be ghouls as a red herring???

My players successfully slew the (absurdly buffed) Dracohydra. A level 10 party of 6 is capable of some wild shit. Letting the druid wildshape and then just ignoring them continues to be a great strategy for taking them out of the fight.
