If he can tell a female Bloomberg reporter, "Quiet, piggy.", call AOC and Crockett "low IQ" and refer to almost every strong woman "nasty," imagine how he treated the vulnerable underage girls he brutally violated that weren't there by choice.

A good article that challenges you to question your own perceptions and to think critically about what you’re being fed by any media outlet.
AOC doesn’t wait for legacy media to frame her with dignity—she does it herself. From eye-level photos to livestreams on policy in her kitchen, she’s reclaiming the frame and redefining what leadership looks like. @azzacohen.bsky.social explains

I’m sorry for how you & so many others were treated Mr. Takei. When I began volunteering at the site of the Manzanar “War Relocation Center” I felt it was an important chance to learn from & remember a dark part of our history. I didn’t realize how quickly it could essentially become current events.
I see it. I have lived it. 83 years ago, the U.S. government turned upon a group of its own citizens and residents and sent them to internment camps without due process. I was there among them. American fascism is back. It is here. It is now.

Seven years ago today the two Bestest Cats were born (in my humble opinion). They have been with me since they were four months old and I treasure the time I’ve spent with them. Here’s to many more good years. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISO AND NATTO! ❤️🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛❤️

A good thread talking about the pattern of how these situations are presented in Trumpworld and how characters like Noem pick their cosplay costuming.
I showed my wife, a historian, the Kristi Noem video. She said “holy shit!” It’s a lot. A brief thread on bodies. It begins in the alt text below… 1/

THIS IS HOW YOU STAND UP: EEOC admin judge Karen Ortiz resisted an order to hand over all LGBT cases for “review” and told colleagues to resist too. She knows she’ll likely to be fired.

Two thoughts about our US society. First our obsession with freedoms without consideration of their interaction with the freedoms of everyone else. The second—thinking about “me and my rights” without considering anything else. Doesn’t part of adulting involve recognizing our responsibilities?
