Hell yes, I heard this a few months ago and have not been able to stop listening to The Beths since then. All bangers.

Picked up my new suit for a conference next week and got me a fun new hat too! Cute AND color-coordinated, yay!

Driving through Lowell last night was kinda scary --The road was narrowed (because snowbanks) and slippery (because snow), and people had to walk in the very narrow shoulder because the sidewalk was only sometimes cleared. Even when it was fully clear the plows had piled up snow on the ramps.

Also I know most people have bad experiences with landlords but he was basically the best landlord ever. Took care of problems, never raised the rent, real nice guy who lived downstairs with his family and who unicycled around. Glad to see he's still at it!

The Boston globe has an article on my old landlord in Somerville (13 years ago) who is a professional Jester www.bostonglobe.com/2026/01/28/m...

I don't know why the article mentions ai (aside from clickbait) since he's the last person who'd make an ai video but good for him on goin viral!

I will simply never recover from reading this sentence:

"Since Georgia implemented work requirements in 2020, they have spent twice as much on Deloitte consultants and administrative costs as on healthcare for people."

I have no idea what this had to do with the music of Mother/Earthbound but he makes a pretty good point!

Anyways I bought a new suit today and I think I look cute. 🩵💚

Done. Thank you for the prompt - I had seen the link and been overwhelmed on all the options and needs and couldn't just pick one and donate. Now I did.

My condolences. I had a pipe burst a few years ago and still got trauma from it. Over the weekend a sink stopped working and I had to commit homeowner crimes to melt the blockage before it completely froze up and burst. (Was successful though!)

When I was furloughed my schedule got like this. I waved signed for a candidate in a local election, went to a mutual aid group meeting, started ceramics & painting projects, read a bunch & hung out at an indie cafe a lot. They had to reopen the government because I was getting too powerful

Finished snowblowing the driveway. Sore, tired, too old for this shit, but glad I got it taken care of now and not tomorrow morning after a deep freeze.

I'll still probably have to go over it again but it will be a lot easier now that the worst of it's gone. Stay warm and safe, folks.

We did... just not on this sink before, since it was always the kitchen sink that would freeze up. 😮‍💨

Had a homeowner's nightmare this morning and the hot water to the bathroom wasn't working. Frozen blockage in the pipe.

Luckily I was able to get it going again, though I may have committed some homeowner crimes.

Stay warm and don't let your pipes freeze, folks!

Congrats on discovering Pratchett! I'd highly recommend the witches next, 'Wyrd Sisters' is a treat, but it's all excellent!
