In my experience, talent is a *detriment* to learning.
I didn't have to practice early on so I *didn't know how*. I didn't start to learn how to practice until my 30s! (When much of my life was taken up with parenting, so I didn't have time!)

The stats of that profile are obscured.
Narration: It's only within the last few years that the biggest gay dating apps have started to allow their users to identify as Sides.
Narration: It was on one of these apps that I first encountered the label, and it took me by complete surprise.

All the traits that you have been taught to value and look for in special individuals - courage, intelligence, strength - are actually collective traits. There is no genius or hero coming to save us from our problems. We solve them together or not at all. Socialism or barbarism.
I have never witnessed such a spiderweb of collective action, just average everyday people showing up. Not the heroism we’ve been sold by the movies but collective heroism, a fabric of care and resistance to fascism.
