Jeg blir mer overbevist om at den beste tiden for oss i vesten å leve var 1990 til 11. september 2001. En periode vi trodde russerne skulle bli som oss, økonomien blomstret, det var ingen grenser. Fremtidstro. Så satte 9.11 USA på sporet mot tyrrani. Og verden ble aldri den samme.

This is new to me. We knew that Epstein was working with Kremlin official Belyakov to circumvent sanctions post Crimea, but his eagerness to help Putin beat the West predates that
