In the second panel the wren is watering the oak sprout which has been placed into the ground with something coming out of a round potion bottle while his friends are watching curiously. In the third panel the sprout has grown into a sapling. The mouse and mole are sitting at the bottom of its trunk with the mouse playing music on a little silver flute. The mole seems to be taking a nap with his worm companion wrapped around its neck while the wren enjoys the music sitting on the highest branch of the sapling. Along the stem, a little snail is crawling. The panels are split by the staffs associated with the three travellers. There is a branch with a single leaf for the mouse with a small snail crawling along. There is a burnt out match which is still slightly glowing for the wren, and a branch with a star shaped lantern for the mole, with a earthworm watching the second panel from the branch.
