Almost end of the year, so I guess that means it's #ArtSummary time! I try to pick my favorite piece from each month, but mostly just my favorite 12 pieces in general.

Truthfully, I feel like I didn't accomplish much this year, but that's alright! I drew #OCs old and new, and had fun doing it :)

Now, my pride and joy! My #cosplay of #Izutsumi from #DungeonMeshi . I did it in stages. Made the ears and tail, styled the wig and wore that with the ninja gear to aa con while I worked on the other stuff. Then I made the skirt, armor + bracers by hand and made the "fur" by modifying old clothes

colored illustrations of my OCs Zuomo and Akara. Zuomo, who has pink hair tied together to a loose ponytail over his shoulder, is lying between lots of blankets and pillows supposedly sick, while Akara, who has fluffy brown hair and wears a beige shirt with a purple stripe on it, sits next to him with a cup of tea. On Zuomo's several blankets stands a little tablet with a teapot a peeled mandarin and a small bowl of cookies. Above the two is a tree with wind chimes in its branches.

He is an Aldarian with light blue skin and lighter blue hair. He wears tan and blue costal style clothing with pink accessories. A headshot drawing of my Oc, Evander. He is a green aldarian (alien) with light hair and an oversized sweater on. He is leaning on one arm and scribbing with the other, though he is supposed to be practicing the English alphabet (it's a whole thing, he picked up and can speak English but never had the chance to learn to read/write bc of plot events I could yap all day but I think that's enough of that) He's drawing a very important person to him and another OC of mine, Iris 💖 (this is the yearning part of the story, and while they are very close, he doesn't know he has feelings for her yet hdhshd ok sorry I'll stop now) Anyway in the back there is a short journal entry, the original written in his native language and translated into English for the viewer to read. It says "Today I thought I ought to start to learn to read and write English in the chance I'm around long enough to use it. Still, I find my mind wandering, more than ever before" If you couldn't already tell, this was a very self indulgent drawing that relies heavily on prior knowledge of the story but hopefully I was able to explain it well enough. A reference/character sheet for my OC Iris! It includes info such as her age (18) height (5'7") Main colors (Pink/Green) What snack she likes/ would be (strawberry poptart ofc) - What song I associate her with (at least currently) is Bitter Water by the Oh Hellos There is a fullbody of her wearing pink and blue, also a polaroid with a headshot. It displays a little chibi headshot of Evander, her significant other, and a beaded bracelet with his colors. Also depicted is her phone, which also has beads connected with her and Evander's colors.
