most of you probably know me well already, but hi, i'm rae! it's nice to formally introduce & share a little bit more about myself.

i'm primarily a hobbyist fanartist, but i'm eager to improve artistically, all the same. happy to be here! 💛

My digitally-drawn Meet The Artist. It includes a drawing of me--I have dark copper hair styled in a wavy long bob, blue eyes, and I've drawn myself wearing an orange cardigan (made by me!), a burgundy floral miniskirt, cream socks, caramel brogues, and glasses. Next to me is my tuxedo cat, Toby. Further details include pronouns (she/they), and the country I'm from (Canada). heyyy... if you also hate that custom list feeds now show reposts, with no option to turn them off outside of doing so for the entire site all at once, here's where the "feedback" buttons are on web and the app, respectively 🥴
The "Feedback" button on web Bsky is on the right-hand side, under the search bar and feeds list. On the app, it's at the bottom of the sliding menu that comes out from the left-hand side.

So, after weeks of trying to get this to where I want it, I think I'll call it with this piece. This is a scene I like to redraw every couple of years to see my growth as an artist. And while I'm still nowhere close to where I want to be, I am proud of how far I've come.

Ray has a warm heart despite his stoic face… now literally as well as figuratively! 🤭

He has dark blue textured form fitting pants. His eyes are an intense pink with dark purple, and he has dark circles under his eyes. Ray kneels on the ground, one arm out for support and the other below his face, holding a heart made of fire. He looks up slightly as he blows on it gently. The hoodie he wears slips slightly off his left shoulder and the light from the fire heart subtly lights up his body and face.
