Another character I drew for the #bokumono collab! When I learned this Spite was named Meow, I knew I wanted to choose this one 🤭

I had some trouble with the collar at first, but I think it turned out okay! The name tag is designed by @wyntersong.com

A sprite from the Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons games named Meow! Meow has light skin, a pink round nose, and large brown eyes. The ears are very long and pointy. He has bright yellow green hair mostly hidden under a bright yellow cap with a white brim and yellowish white round decoration on top. His top is the same yellow color with a wide and tall collar and upside down V shaped opening at the bottom. The sleeves are long and wide with white cuffs. He has a very large dark brown belt at his waist with a silver buckle, the pants are baggy and dark brown and he has large plain blue shoes with yellow highlights. His arms are at his sides and his head is lightly tilted as he looks up at the viewer with a small smile. On the brim of his hat is a nametag (designed by Kenzie Webb) that says “Hello, my name is… Meow”.

Sappy as it may be: make friends, not followers. People who care about YOU and not just your art will follow you in any trend, any space, any time. You obviously can't be friends with everyone, but having a core group of people to lean on is important in and out of the art world.

But like?? I’m an adult who can spend my money on things that make me happy, if that makes you mad, then maybe that’s a you problem 🤨
Can we stop acting like joy has an age limit? If buying a stuffed animal, researching cartoons, using a coloring book, collecting cute stationary, or sleeping with a fuzzy blanket brings you peace in this chaotic world, that’s valid. The world is heavy. Bills are read. Burnout is constant. If something soft or silly makes it even a little bit brighter, let it. Being an adult doesn’t mean you have to let go of the things that once made you feel safe or happy. We don’t need less joy. We need more of it. Louder. Brighter. Unapologetic. Smile at the small things. But the plushie. Get the happy meal. Hug the pillow. Pick the pen with glitter ink. You’re not too grown. You’re just tired, and you deserve softness too.
