“Ohhh, he wears the number 20,
He will take us to victory,
And when he’s running down the left-wing,
He’ll cut inside and score for LFC,
He’s a lad from Portugal,
Better than Figo don’t you know,
Ohhh, his name is Diogo!”

RIP Diogo #YNWA
Love to your family

Is it at all surprising that a convicted felon would ignore a judge's order?

So I've read this The 2024-25 Nations League explained - www.bbc.com/sport/footba... and still don't understand.

Can Scotland qualify for the World Cup via the Nations' League?

What is the point of these next few games?

Stunning sunset on the final evening before the spring equinox. More seals on the beach than there has been for a while.

If Jesus came back today: He would be ripped from his parents' arms, and they'd be sent to Guantanamo. Then, if his birth place Citizenship was revoked, he might be reunited if he was lucky, only to be sent to Herod so that he could be stabbed to death. Think about that, Christian nationalists.

Gosh, I remember when we had an actual president instead of a loudmouth bully who won't take responsibility for his actions.

I want to apologise to Nottm Forest. It's my fault you lost so heavily today at Bournemouth.
Yesterday I bought Sels and put him in my fantasy team!

Among all of the (correct) “autism is not an excuse!” takes, I do want to point out:

There is no widespread issue of #autistic people getting away with stuff because of our autism. It wouldn’t work for most of us. It’s only a handful of rich white dudes who even try it.

Oh this ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ it's so easy to get blinded by the big bad stuff far away that you can't see the little good stuff you can touch
Now is really a time to look after your mental health. The US situation cannot be controlled by our heads. Do what makes you happy, if something hits you specifically then tackle that, not the bigger things you can’t influence.

Up to ten now. Some leaving to bring joy to friends soon but for now we're one big tousled herd.

FYI, if you go into the Privacy and Security settings, you can generate app passwords to give specific apps (eg web tools) access to your Bluesky account without having to share your main password. You can revoke app passwords you generated any time too.

Should help you stay safer online.

Good Morning Bluesky - or maybe not so blue in parts of the UK, how are you all coping with the first snow of winter?
We've none here on my part of the Moray Firth, can see Sutherland is a white out.
It's perishingly cold though, do check on your elderly neighbours if it's the same where you are.

Advent calendar almost ready for the post. Need to get at the dowling with the junior hacksaw - it's all I'm allowed apparently 😀😀😀 - and get that sewn in and then away.
It's a Christmas present but no point waiting until 25th to give it!

I love the winter skies. Stunningly beautiful although perishingly cold.

Across the Firth the hills of Sutherland are white today. We had a covering this morning.
