“Ohhh, he wears the number 20,
He will take us to victory,
And when he’s running down the left-wing,
He’ll cut inside and score for LFC,
He’s a lad from Portugal,
Better than Figo don’t you know,
Ohhh, his name is Diogo!”

RIP Diogo #YNWA
Love to your family

Stunning sunset on the final evening before the spring equinox. More seals on the beach than there has been for a while.

The herd is growing. (Soo's Sassy Coos).

Up to ten now. Some leaving to bring joy to friends soon but for now we're one big tousled herd.

Advent calendar almost ready for the post. Need to get at the dowling with the junior hacksaw - it's all I'm allowed apparently 😀😀😀 - and get that sewn in and then away.
It's a Christmas present but no point waiting until 25th to give it!

I love the winter skies. Stunningly beautiful although perishingly cold.

Across the Firth the hills of Sutherland are white today. We had a covering this morning.

Jonathan (JLS) our visiting herring gull was persistent in his twice daily demands for tidbits.

A Sunday roast dinner for tea on a Monday.

PS I did add gravy.

Stunningly beautiful out there as ever.

The wind chill is very much in evidence today and Thursday's 15⁰C is very much a memory.

Home from parkrun, log burner on, knitting underway, broth from slow cooker is a stew, the Imps on the telly box, dog acting as a head rest!

How was your #parkrun this morning? I had no idea how I felt and somehow managed to knock over 50 seconds off my Elgin PB and now getting close to a sub 33 for the first time in almost 5 years! #NeverGiveUp #Loveparkrun #running The rainbow was a sign! Good to be running at lower ºC again.

Our nearest parkrun is Elgin but we're over on the Moray Coast by the start - or end - of the Speyside Way.
I'm glad so many folk from Elgin have work.

@rachdhd.bsky.social sending you a few sunsets. The setting position will tell you the time of year, it being Scotland you're as likely to need your coat in June as in January so air temperature is no indication.

Seen lots of cats over her but not so many dogs. This is HRH Princess Tia. She's 11ish - never quite know with a rescue - think she's maybe a bit senile but she loves her people.
As with so many other pooches these days - looking at you cockerpoos, labradoodles etc. - she's a mongrel.
