the only good thing about genAI is that it got me to really love seeing bad art, because I know a person put in time and effort, made themselves vulnerable by showing it to others, and is trying to improve. I value that more than anything now

I cannot stress this enough, but IF you've got a friend or two to also get it with, (bad marketing = very low players) I highly recommend picking up King of Meat. It's on sale til tomorrow for $7.50 and it's fun as hell.

I am thoroughly impressed with Sakurai's ability to take a 20-something year old game and add onto it without fundamentally changing much at all. Air Riders is just a definitive edition of Air Ride in disguise and I think that's fucking beautiful.
