4. und wichtig: nirgends hab ich gesagt man ist generell selber Schuld. Ich hab gesagt wenn man mit 40 blind weiter gegen eine Wand läuft und zB Lehraufträge annimmt die man sich eben nur durch Priviliegen finanzieren kann -dann sollte man das überdenken weil man damit dem System in die Hände spielt

One of the opening moves on Bumble is: Which book should be read by everyone? I can‘t believe that I get to think back to the literature canon discussion in my Intro to literature some 25 years ago on a regular basis. And spoiler alert: Guys tend to unmatch me when they read my reply 😅

I once went through the Linguistic Atlas of Late Mediaeval English to collect all the attested Middle English spellings of ‘through’ (476).
We went on the boat trip while it was dark. I feel the organisers need to get in touch with some ICAME organisers to learn about the tricks of the trade about boat trips.
Today‘s conference day includes a boat trip. I‘m sensing #ICAME vibes.
