To put this in scale, Elon Musk's salary from Tesla alone could fund the SNAP program for the entire country into 2034.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk scored a resounding victory on Thursday as shareholders approved a pay package of as much as $878 billion over the next decade, endorsing his vision of morphing the EV maker into an AI and robotics juggernaut.

Spent afternoon in criminal court for crazy neighbor dog bite hearing. He completely melted down and caused a scene requiring sheriff deputies to be called in and I got a sheriff escort after to the bus stop. He needs mental health help so badly.
Declined the free yard sign promoting our kindergartner’s new school because I don’t want crazy neighbor knowing where my kids go to school. And I really hate that.
Crazy neighbor came by yesterday, got his phone out to film, and then said a weight related insult to my husband as he walked by, clearly trying to get a reaction to claim harassment. This guy is EXHAUSTING. But he also doesn’t seem to know our security cameras have audio. Dummy

And they busted out the parachute in gym. He just had a peak grade school day and doesn’t even know it
Kindergartner brought home first scholastic book fair flyer and I’m on off in my memories just touching that thin paper. Husband and I reliving poverty childhood memories of not affording anything. 📚

My kindergartner just told me “six seven” means Italian dunkers . I was waiting for this moment when my little baby learns slang (incorrectly) 🤣

I’m just a girl who can’t eat dairy, outside a professional conference, once again asking caterers to stop putting cheese in goddamn everything

My kindergartener has his first lockdown drill today. we talked about it and tried to frame it the same way we think about fire drills, but he's still scared at the idea of needing to hide. WHICH IS VERY NORMAL. I hate this for us, for him.

We officially lost our restraining order against crazy neighbor. The bar for proving harassment is insane. I am exhausted. We have video of a dog attack and verbal harassment. My kids are going to refuse to go outside again. Debating appeal or next steps 😭😭😭

Of all the photos posted by the Strib related to the shooting at Annunciation Church, this was the one that got me the most. Maybe because we cant see the (presumably) mom’s face, so it seems more universal? arc.stimg.co/startribunem...?

Again...Sending my kids into a world full of guns 😭
I fantasize about being a parent somewhere without guns, fewer cars, and safer urban design
US kids are 15x more likely to die by gun, and 2.5x more likely to die by car than kids in the OECD 18 countries.

All while their health is deteriorating in other ways.

Starting tomorrow I have 1 daycare payment instead of 2. Feeling like this over here. Think I might buy myself a few garden perennials at full price to celebrate.

In one of the videos, my older son has a nervous giggle, doesn’t sound scared according to the judge. My testimony of his daily questions about the bad neighbor and my 2yo refusing to go outside for weeks meant nothing I guess. I want to cry.
Crazy neighbor admitted to having a gun and is paranoid

Another day in the office: wired and wifi internet down for first 2 hours of day. coworker in next cube has a new VERY clicky keyboard that makes me want to die, and the employee recognition event did not have any food I could eat. On the plus side, our new bike parking is awesome.

Someone delivered food to our house at 345am. Pretty sure wrong address. I am shocked there is a 24 hour kitchen doing delivery? I thought everything closed at 10 in St. Paul

Court today for crazy neighbor situation. Incredibly stressful and frustrating afternoon. Judge makes ruling tomorrow. My heart rate has been 30-50 bpm higher than normal since noon, my nervous system is jacked up. The whole process has been disappointing and time consuming
Crazy neighbor requesting in-person court hearing to contest restraining orders. Now I have to upload 50+ photos and videos of him throwing trash into our yard or yelling at us, and prepare for court. Dude is unemployed and has all the time in the world for this shit
Literally every time we go outside my 2yo asks if “bad neighbor and police” are going to come again, and it’s been over 2 weeks since the last incident 😭 poor baby is still scared. Strong desire to punch this guy for that alone.

One of the worst things about driving is other drivers. One of the best things about cycling is other cyclists.
As a car guy who loves biking… so true. It’s the opposite with biking though, but it never clicked for me before!
