Why do our ex players constantly bash the team & individual players? I'm embarrassed by the way Butt / Scholes talked about Licha vs Haaland. "Haaland would pick him up & run into goal while holding him like a dad at school".

The big kicker to me is that this season without European football felt a perfect time to build the team around Amorim's 3-4-3 without the pressure of immediate success, so that next season would've been to further strengthen up and mount more of a challenge for trophies.
I don’t understand why some fans are desperate for Champions League football when we’re so far from that level. Realistically, we’d get absolutely dicked in that competition. We need to be honest with ourselves 😅 ambition is great, but at what point does the humbling actually sink in? #MUFC

I'd have felt more confidence in seeing this season out with Amorim. Last 2 games, players looked off it in the scope of genuine devastation of having seen another manager sacked where it felt progress was slowly being made.
Now, I really fear we don't even finish top 6.
