Folk with OCD understand moral panic more than others I feel. We have to unpack the uncomfortably and uncertainty stirred by the grotesque voices/thoughts/images that flit across our mind’s eye. We have to, lest we lose ourselves in the bottomless mire of guilt, and worry, and paralyzing fear.
