I can barely remember what I wore yesterday, but Melissa Etheridge pops up in my music and I vividly remember my ex-fiance (who has since run down the curtain and joined the choir invisible) telling me in 1994 about his dream of me singing "Come to My Window" dressed in nothing but a Red Sox jersey.
